Its our first boy, his name is Isaiah Wiyaka David Geffre. The Wiyaka means "feather", its in honor of my mother whose indian name was "Feather Woman". =) I stopped by my dad's last night and started looking around the for poem. We just have to find the right box, where all of her writings are. Thanks again for your patience.

Hey Darren,
I absolutely love the work of Doy Ott who was the baritone for the famous Statesmen Qt....and i saw his son signed the guestbook...i need to get in touch with him.
His father Doy Sr wrote a great Gospeltune entitled 'When My Master Walks with Me" which had great inverted harmonies..
I sing in a Quartet in Amsterdam Holland, and we want to do that song...since nobody in the industry did it ever (to my knowledge that is).

I am speechless. I prayed for so long to see the words to your mom's poem again. I recited it verbatim at my Graduation at Rapid City High in 1967. I wanted to write about my life as an Indian woman in this challenging world. I also served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. I cannot thank you enough for sending it to me.
